India is a country of dynamic culture, and every Indian celebrates many festivals whole heartedly throughout the year. Every festival is unique in its way. Home away, in our new homes, we are stitched together as a community by Bengali heritage, tradition and festivals. As the saying goes "Baaro mash’e Tero paarbon" (12 months, 13 festivals) aptly defines our unending zeal and enthusiasm.

About us
Prestige Lakeside Habitat Bengali Cultural Association (PLHBCA)
PLHBCA is a cultural and social association by the Bengali families of Prestige Lakeside Habitat with a pledge to keep the Bengali culture alive within us. This group not only represents Bengali culture, but also believes in inclusiveness where we organize and celebrate Bengali festivals and share the happiness with our friends and families of all communities residing at PLH with a diversified representation of 100+ energetic and enthusiastic volunteers coming together to architect, organize and execute all the festivals across PLH. PLHBCA has organized many festivals such as Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja, Rabindra Jayanti(Birthday of Rabindra Nath Tagore), Poila Boisakh (Bengali New Year) in the past. It has also served the PLH community through activities such as sports & games, civic services during Covid-19 etc. It frequently conducts activities on literacy, cultural, social, family get togethers and many more.
Awards & Recognition
Since inception, PLH Durgotsav has won several awards over the years, which has further elevated our prominence within the bengali communities in Bengaluru. During the pandemic, our primary focus over the past two years of celebration has been the safety and well being of our patrons. DURGA PUJA

KOJAGORI LOKKHI PUJA
Kojagori Lokkhi Puja is also celebrated every year following Durga Puja . Take a look at all the previous years celebrations.
SREE SREE SHYAMA PUJA
PLHBCA started organising Shayma Puja from 2021 and received overwhelming response and participation from the residents to mark it a grand inauguration.
SARASWATI PUJA
Goddess of knowledge is welcomed to our beloved society every year with a grand reception. Hate Khori for the kids, khichuri bhog, music, 'Natak'(drama) are few of the core attractions of these events.
OUTINGS
Christmas and picnics in the outskirts of our city are organised every year where a large number of families join and celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ.
